Duties & Responsibilities

The Evidence and Property Management Section is responsible for ensuring the proper handling of all property/evidence that is brought into the custody of the Police Department.

Whether it is to be later used in court on a criminal case or stored for safekeeping, the technicians safeguard all property in accordance with state law. They have expertise in crime scene processing and are utilized on major cases to aid in the investigation.


There are 3 evidence technicians who oversee the Property and Evidence Management Section.
