On Tuesday, February 11th, 2025 the Liberal City Commission addressed the following items during their regularly scheduled meeting:
Consent Agenda items (airport leases) were approved by the Commission.
The Commission reviewed and approved a new Employee Recognition Program for staff aimed to highlight an employee every quarter for their specific contributions to the organization and community.
Commissioners reviewed requests and approved the following equipment and service purchases for city departments:
- Mower for the Parks Dept.
- Annual camera maintenance for the CityBus Dept.
- Bunker gear (turnout coats and pants) for Liberal Fire Dept.
- Vacuum excavator/valve exerciser for the Water Dept.
- Air compressor for the Water Dept.
- Fairway mower for Willow Tree Golf Course.
The next regularly scheduled Liberal City Commission meeting will take place February 25th, 2025 at 5:30 p.m.
