On Tuesday, December 26th the Liberal City Commission addressed the following items during their regularly scheduled meeting:
Consent Agenda items (airport leases, cereal malt beverage licenses) were approved by the Commission.
The Commission held a public hearing session for amendments to the 2023 budget. Following the hearing, Commissioners voted to approve Ordinance No. 4610 amending the 2023 budget.
Next, Commissioners approved the fiscal year 2023 fund transfers presented.
Commissioners also voted to approve reclassification of delinquent accounts receivable and utility accounts in the amount of $66,395. While this total will be removed from listed assets, the account balances remain collectible from the account holder directly or through the Kansas State Setoff Program.
The next regularly scheduled Liberal City Commission meeting will take place January 9th at 5:30 p.m.
