Having a strong downtown business economy is important to a city’s continued development and quality of life. Community members and businesses have approached the City of Liberal to propose changes to roadways and parking on Kansas Avenue (Main Street) to support downtown growth.
Adding more parking by creating angled parking spaces on Kansas Avenue is one proposed idea for supporting business growth. This effort would require changes to street lanes and traffic patterns downtown.
It is important for us to hear from all residents about this idea. Your response to this survey will help guide the decision-making process around proposed changes to Liberal’s downtown area.
